If you ever find yourself going to Phoenix you need to check out the RV Rentals in Phoenix. Phoenix is a heavily traveled place. You have a lot going on form a major University to several professional sports teams. It is also a host to several major sporting events such as the Fiesta Bowl which will host the College Football national championship game every now and then.
The weather is ideal during the Fall, Winter and Spring months but it is scorching hot during the summer. It is a very popular destination during the winter months which means it gets really, really busy during the winter. Therefore hotel rooms are usually at a premium then especially if you throw in a major sporting event which they do not lack.
If you need an affordable place to stay I recommend renting an RV. You have a few different options when it comes to renting an RV:
- RVShare
- Cruise America
- Dealership
RV Share
I recommend RVShare. I absolutely love this service. It’s the AirBnb of the RV world. All you have to do is go to the website, put in the location you are going to and then pick the RV or trailer you want and then book it. Check out my review here. But I must warn you to book plenty ahead of time because sometimes it takes a while for the owners to get back to you if they ever do. So plan ahead and you should be fine. Also use some common sense when booking. Don’t book one that is 30 years old because it could cause you some trouble.
Cruise America
I have used Cruise America before and I will admit that my experience was not that bad. Only bad thing is that you are a traveling advertisement for them with their name and phone number plastered all over it. Plus you are limited to where you can rent and drop off. You also have to read the fine print on the contract as to how many miles per day you can travel without being charged extra. Overall my experience was not bad at all. I still prefer the peer to peer rental method because you are helping someone out but if that falls through then Cruise America is a great way to go.
Dealership
This would be my third option. If you find a great dealership that you know and trust then go for it. Unfortunately not every dealership rents out RV’s so you might be searching for a while to try and find one and when you do you will find out that they usually rent out pretty fast and the hours that you can pick up and drop off are limited. I have not had any luck renting from a dealership but can be a good option. I am neither for or against it because i have limited experience with it. What I have discovered is that they tend to be a little more expensive than the previous two options.
If you plan on traveling to the Grand Canyon then renting an RV in Phoenix is a great way to go because it is a great place to start and end your adventure. Renting an RV in Phoenix is a great way to go because there is a major airport and you have many solutions and ways to get to where the RV is.
